Silver American Eagles...Proof

I started collecting these beautiful Eagles in 1999 and have been getting them ever since. I also received 3 coins from my dad...2 from the 80s and 1 from the 90s... after he passed away.

I have had 14 of these graded by NGC and had some great luck with 8 of them coming back PF70UC. Not too bad considering I only purchased 1 proof SAE a year from the mint!

The most impressive coin has to be the 2006 reverse proof eagle.
Not just for the eagle, but for any coin that the US Mint has produced. It is an incredible coin that I am finding myself pulling out of my collection and looking at more then any other! This is one coin that I will be upgrading from the PF69UC that I have to a 70!

But the picture I want to enclose is of my very first proof SAE purchase. It is the 1999 eagle. I was so happy to have my first eagle come back a PF70UC!! What a great feeling it was!!

Thank you everybody in taking the time to read my journals and looking at my collections. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Jeffrey
