Collectors Society - kingpin562's Journal Entry

my very first CGC signature series submission
Posted: 10/29/2009 11:59:28 PM   Views: 167

I turned in 3 books at the CGC booth at the first ever Long
Beach Comic Con. I've been sending my books to CGC now since 2005. My first CGC was at the first ever Wizard World in Long Beach. I have been submitting ever since. Now that a convention has returned to Long Beach I thought I'd give the signature series a try. I did not witness the signing but called and confirmed they were signed. Now what grade did they get? I will find out tomorrow when I give them a call.

They were signed by J. Scott Campbell. The books were: Amazing Spider-Man 606 LBCC variant. Danger Girl 3-D Special 1 & Danger Girl Special #1

Here are the results!
Amazing Spider-Man 606 LBCC variant 9.8
Danger Girl 3D Special 9.6 (I thought this one was a 9.8)
Danger Girl Special #1 9.2 (I thought this too was a 9.8)

The two Danger Girls I submitted did not have any visible cover flaws(must be interior ??)thats why I though they were going to get a high grade. I was not there for the actual signing and hope it was not mishandled by either the CGC rep or Mr. Campbell.

Does CGC give a report card or some sorts? I wanna know what the flaws are.
