The goal of the Certified Coin Registry is to encourage coin collecting as a hobby, acknowledge the collectors who assemble truly remarkable sets, and inspire beginner hobbyists as they embark on the fun and rewarding hobby of building a coin collection.

There are many advantages to using the Certified Coin
Registry:
IT’S ACCESSIBLE. The
Registry is open to Collectors Society members with
sets of all sizes, from complete to "just getting
started." Collections do not have to be complete
to be listed. It’s possible that an incomplete
set with high grade rarities could rank higher than
a complete set of mostly lower grade coins.
IT’S AFFORDABLE. Once a Collectors' Society member, there is no cost for a simple registry entry and should you choose to have your coins imaged, the cost is just $3 per coin, plus shipping and insurance charges to and from NGC.
IT’S IMPARTIAL.
Your set is ranked according to its true rarity, thanks
to our highly accurate ranking system developed by our
top experts.
IT’S INCLUSIVE.
We rank coins from both major coin certification services,
NGC and PCGS, so all of the coins in your set will be
included.
IT’S PRIVATE. When
starting your set, you choose its name and whether or
not to use your own name or a pseudonym. At all times,
your Registry account information and management tools
are password protected.
IT’S CONVENIENT.
Adding or removing coins from your set is easy through
your password-protected area. It’s also easy to
submit coins for Registry with our online form.
IT’S EXCLUSIVE. The
Registry not only lists the top 3 collections in each
area but it also allows a further listing of all the
collections in a each area of competition. This way,
even beginner set collectors can see their place in
the Registry, and see their sets move up the charts
as they continue to add or upgrade their coins.
IT’S TRUSTWORTHY. Because
the Registry is run and sponsored by NGC, the industry’s
leading coin certification company and the Official
Grading Service of the ANA, you can trust it will be
done right. NGC handles over 40,000 coins a month and
has the systems and the personnel to safely, quickly
and expertly handle your Registry submissions.

It functions as a ranking system, as a visual record
of your collection, as a viewing tool for your family
and friends across the country and around the world.
