Schechter Joins Certified Collectibles Group as Director of Marketing

Beginning June 1, 2005, Scott Schechter will assume the role of Director of Marketing for all Certified Collectibles Group companies. In this newly created position he will manage all facets of our marketing strategy from the Collectors' Society, the core of CCG's collector resource initiative to the day-to-day marketing strategy of our various companies which include NGC, CGC, NCS and PMG.
Scott Schechter has been involved in rare coins since childhood. He began to formalize his involvement in the industry as an intern at the Smithsonian Institution's National Numismatic Collection before attending Harvard University. Since graduating in June of 2000 with a degree in the History of Science, Magna Cum Laude, he has been employed at Pinnacle Rarities as a professional numismatist specializing in high quality US rare coins.

Schechter will play an important role in CCG’s outreach to the collectibles business.
